About DMRM
Digital Medical Records Management is a partnership of two full-time medical transcriptionists,
who happen to be sisters and the best of friends. After many years of working together,
supporting each other in our individual businesses, providing vacation coverage, and helping
each other out when we were sick or got extra busy, we decided to formalize it and work
together -- so you get two full time transcriptionists for the price of one! We love the
transcription business and we love providing quality transcription service and helping our
clients' practices operate more efficiently -- and we especially love when our clients brag about
us!
Paula Kelley has been in the medical field for her entire career. After completing her
coursework at Fullerton College, she worked as a Medical Assistant, X-Ray Technician, Medical
Office Manager, and Practice Administrator, and has been a full time independent medical
transcriptionist for over 15 years. She has experience in medical billing and coding, patient
scheduling, managing multi-physician and multi-specialty practices, and is an expert in
knowing the entire process and just where the transcriptionist fits in. Paula has successfully
balanced a full time business with raising a family for so long that her daughters used to think
that's what moms did -- they had home businesses! She lives in Windsor, CA, with her
husband, two teenage daughters and their dog, Toby.
Lisa Israel has been a transcriptionist for almost 10 years, bringing a background in
information technology and insurance into the mix. She loves embracing new technology and
using it to save time and money -- both ours and yours!! With special interests in
telecommunications, digital systems, and electronic medical records, you can be sure that Lisa
will keep abreast of what is happening technology-wise!! She has a BA in communications
and an MBA in E-business, and lives in Santa Rosa, CA, with her husband and three very
spoiled dogs, Curly, Missy, and Dizzy.
